Rock Climbing Teams for Individuals with Different Abilities!
United Rocks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through the transformative sport of rock climbing. Our mission is to foster physical strength, mental resilience, and social connection in an inclusive and supportive community.
In just three years, our vision of making rock climbing accessible to individuals with IDD has grown into a thriving movement. With teams practicing weekly at multiple locations, we are changing lives—one climb at a time. What began with just five climbers in February 2022 has now impacted over 800 individuals, including their families, coaches, and dedicated volunteers.
At every practice, our climbers embody courage, perseverance, and joy, proving that there are no limits to what they can achieve. Together, we are not just climbing walls—we are breaking barriers and redefining possibilities.
